I.M. Skaugen’s core business is the seaborne transport and logistics of liquified gases, such as petrochemical gases, LPG and LNG.

Norgas Carriers is a leading integrated shipping company involved in the global transportation of petrochemical gases, LPG, Chemicals and LNG. We are currently operating a fleet of 19 gas carriers, 5,000 to 12,000 cbm. A comprehensive new building program is at the end and the company has taken deliveries of 2 new “Ultragas” vessels (12.000 cbm) and 4 new “Multigas” vessels (10.000 cbm), all capable to carry LNG in addition to the ethylene and other petrochemical gases that we have traditionally been transporting.

Through our offices located in Singapore, Bahrain, St. Petersburg and Shanghai, we provide leading edge transportation solutions 24/7 to our customers who are major players in petrochemicals industry. We have a proven track record in the Middle East where our strong presence is dating back more than 10 years.

Norgas Middle East activities are today coordinated from our Bahrain-office where we serve our clients from. We were among the first to transport ethylene and can today count the major petrochemical producers in the region as our customers. Our major trade lanes today are the GCC region to South East Asia and the Far East.
